Jaeger Missiles

This tech applies cybernetic brains drawn from hunter species and fuses them with heavy ship missiles. This allows the heavy missile to be fired without a target and to travel the battle area seeking one on its own.

Jaeger Missiles are a direct fire weapon. Enable them when selecting your ship (click the button to enable the targeting). Then pick a destination ANYWHERE on the map (even outside of your sensor view). It will then fire and try to find any unseen enemies. If it does, it will target them and track them. If it does not find anything before it gets to its designated location, it will circle the area waiting until either it finds a target, or its lifetime runs out. [1]
The "active" label means that the player is actively selecting targets to fire at as well as allowing the missiles to be fired. When it is disabled, the missiles will stop firing and the player will be unable to target other locations. Disabling the missile targeting does not destroy missiles that have been launched. [2]
